Property Cleanup in Lake Mary
When a yard has gotten away from you, we bring it back. We cut down brush, pull vines and volunteer trees, clear old debris piles and haul it all off. You end up with clean, open ground that is ready for the next season.
A one-time reset for a yard that got ahead of you
Property cleanup is the big job. It is for a yard that has gone a season or two without real work, a house you just bought, a rental between tenants, or a lot that collected brush, old fencing and yard waste behind the shed. It is different from our seasonal cleanup, which is routine upkeep on a yard that is already in decent shape.
Timing matters here. Florida growth takes off once the summer rains start, and a yard that is cleared in spring is far easier to keep up through the wet months. Clearing before hurricane season also gets loose limbs and junk piles out of the way before the storms come.
We walk the property with you first, agree on what goes and what stays, and then do the work in one push. When we leave, the debris leaves with us.
What the cleanup covers
Brush and overgrowth cut back
We cut down weeds, tall grass and thick undergrowth along fence lines, beds and the edges of the lot. Shrubs you want to keep get pruned back to a healthy shape instead of being hacked flat.
Vines pulled, not just trimmed
Vines climbing fences, trees and the side of your home get pulled down and out. We go after the roots where we can reach them, because cutting them at the ground only buys you a few weeks.
Volunteer trees and saplings removed
Seedling trees sprout fast in neglected corners, and fast growers like Brazilian pepper take over if left alone. We remove the small ones before they grow into a tree removal job.
Old debris and yard waste hauled off
Leaf piles, fallen limbs, rotted landscape timbers, old edging and broken pavers all get loaded and taken away. Nothing gets left at the curb for you to deal with.
Beds and edges opened back up
We clear out the beds so you can see what is left in them, and cut clean edges along walks and the driveway. If you want fresh mulch after that, our mulch and beds service picks up from there.

Signs your yard needs a full cleanup
- You can't find the bed edges
- Grass, weeds and groundcover have grown together and the original layout is gone. Regular mowing won't fix that.
- Vines are on the fence or the house
- Vines hold moisture against wood and siding and can pull fencing over. The longer they climb, the harder they are to get off.
- Small trees are growing where they shouldn't
- Saplings along the foundation, in the fence line or under the AC unit grow into real problems within a couple of seasons.
- There's a pile nobody wants to touch
- Old branches, yard waste or leftover project materials stacked in a corner draw pests and hold water during the rainy months.
- You just moved in or a tenant moved out
- A new start is the easiest time to clear everything and decide what the yard should look like going forward.
How a cleanup job runs
- 1
Walkthrough with you
We walk the whole yard with you and mark what stays: plants you like, trees you want to keep, anything with value to you. You get a clear estimate based on what we saw.
- 2
Schedule it ahead of the season
We pick a date that fits the weather. Spring cleanups get the yard ready before summer growth, and fall ones clear things out once the rains slow down.
- 3
Cut, pull and clear
The crew works from the outside edges in, cutting brush, pulling vines and taking out saplings. We keep the work away from your windows, AC unit and anything we flagged on the walkthrough.
- 4
Haul and final pass
Every load gets hauled away. We blow off walks, the driveway and the patio, then walk the yard with you again so you can see it finished.
What sets the price of a cleanup
Every cleanup is priced after we see the yard, because two lots the same size can take very different amounts of work. Your estimate lists what we'll do so you know what you are paying for. For bigger projects, financing is available up to $100,000 on 2–12-year terms, with no prepayment penalties.
- How overgrown it is
- A yard that went one summer without care is a much lighter job than one that has been left for years with woody growth.
- How much gets hauled
- Debris volume drives truck loads and disposal. Heavy material like old pavers or timbers costs more to move than brush.
- Access to the work
- Narrow side yards, gates and fenced backyards mean more hand carrying and longer days.
- Add-on work
- Stump grinding, tree trimming or bamboo removal can be done on the same visit, and each one adds to the total.
Property cleanup questions
- How is this different from your seasonal cleanup?
- Seasonal cleanup is routine work on a yard that is mostly in shape, like trimming, leaf removal and tidying beds a few times a year. Property cleanup is a bigger one-time job for a yard that has gotten away from you. Many people start with a property cleanup and then switch to seasonal cleanup or lawn care to keep it there.
- Do I need to be home while you work?
- You need to be there for the walkthrough so we agree on what stays. On cleanup day you don't have to be home, as long as we can get into the yard. We'll walk the finished job with you when you're around.
- Will you take out trees and stumps too?
- Small saplings and volunteer trees are part of the cleanup. Larger trees fall under our tree trimming and removal service, and leftover stumps can be handled with stump grinding. We can do both on the same visit if you want.
- What happens to all the debris?
- We load it and haul it away. You won't be left with piles at the curb waiting for pickup.
- When is the best time of year for a cleanup?
- Late winter and spring work well, because you get a clean start before the summer rains push growth into high gear. Fall is good too, after the wet season slows. We can do a cleanup any time of year, but those windows make it easier to keep up afterward.
